Subject description: how to get rid of special troops?

on this map you start out with all the normal options, but you also have special troops avaible to you to build(e.g. chrono commando and yuri prime) how do i get rid of that option?

i could upload the map if u really need it.

Simple... Open the map in notepad (Or click INI Editing in the Edit tab of the window for Final Alert 2) and input the unit's name ([CHRONO] for example, no clue yet if that's actually the Chrono Commando or not, havn't looked in months). Then put TechLevel=-1 and set it so they don't require stolen tech with the TechLevel=-1 entry on them as well. Hope that helps some, since I have some experiance at this. So in a way, it's a mod map that isn't exactly a mod.

Yheah, I think it's something like that, but look in rules.ini and find him first. Then do what Shakar suggests.

in my opinion, it also helps to simply read whats mentionedi n the ini itself. it pretty much tells you right there. expirementing helps also
