A7V - the only German-created tank of WW1.

They sucked in Tank-VS-Tank warfare.

Just a suggestion Rami, and nothing to do with this thread tbh, but could you please paginate your download sections on your website, scrolling through a page of 30-odd voxels at a time is a bit annoying.

Wow, mini WWI tanks? A WWI mod for RA? wel if the standard game's anything to go by a lot of little infantry die anyways so a WWI mod should be quite a bloodbath...

If it could catch it. One of its biggest problems was being overrun by infantry. It could only travel at walking pace.

And got stuck easily, there was a "My tank is longer than your trench is wide" competition, the British made longer tanks and the germans responded with longer trenches...

raminator please use another color ingame becaus I cant see a **** of the detail on them with that pink annoying team color. (I prefer yellow like in the first post of this topic)

And please edit the image in some image editor and cut out all of the picture that aint needed and resize the part that you want to 2X when dealing with that low resolution that is used in Redalert1

I know it's a Biplane
(Yes I know I mis-spelled Gloucester, but I can spell antidisestablishmentarialism!)

Ok, so it has two wings, an engine and some machineguns right?

Sounds fun, a new tactic "biplane spamming" build 50 and try to take out a light tank...

Why not have the planes drop grenades? It seems like a viable tactic. And what about armored cars?

Maybe the pilots would drop the grenades. So you could have anti-armour/building aircraft. Having just anti-infantry airplanes would make it useless to build AA unless you love to turtle.

Don't diss, Laurence of Arabia used Camels and he killed the ottoman empire from the inside whilst the Armies of europe failed at gallipoly and in eastern europe.

And in early planes pilots did use to drop grenades and some later models were specialised bombers (vickers vimys, gothas etc).

I'll help! I know far too much abou WWII for my own good, an I can find out what I don't know, so if you need historical info (which I don't think you will because I don't see Abrams tanks in the 20s or MkIs squaring up to T72s) ask.

ok...so here´s your task:
-make me a unit list for tanks (should be a good mixture of WW1,early WW2 and inbetween)
-think of where RA1-technology can be used

that would help me alot =)

As ground forces, I'd have more to fear from a guy in a biplane lobbing a ten pound brick out, tumbling at 200 mph at me, than someone shooting a pistol and hitting nothing due to accuracy issues.

look up the tsar tank, basically a Russian prototype of the world war one era. It was probably the largest armoured vehicle of the time, so big it got stuck in the mud. If it worked, it would have owned everyone and thing in the trenches, but that is of course, if it worked...
