Hey guys i've been trying for ages to try and get the old C&C:3 SDK
to work for ages but can't,I'm guessing because the files that Read me says i should have aren't there. has anyone got a working one who could upload them here in a file Zip?
ATM i'm working on TibEd 2 which sucks due to limitation.

Why do you need an old SDK? Version 5 doesn´t have any downsides compared to its predecessors.

Anyways:
SDK1.0
SDK2.0
SDK4.0

...right...

...now that this has been clarified, what are "the files that Read me says [you] should have"? Do you mean your SDK installation is incomplete? Or do you mean the Required Applications?

Program :Build MOD will not work

Quote:
IMPORTANT
*Keep in mind that the MOD SDK has some required applications. *The newest WorldBuilder needs to be downloaded to work with the MOD SDK.

The MOD SDK requires some applications be installed before being able to build the included Sample MOD or your created MOD. The .NET Framework is required to be able to run the BinaryAssetBuilder application used to build the XML data. The other two applications ANTRL, and Mvp.xml are not required but recommended. Some of our existing xml files will not compile without these applications.

Go to http://www.cncmods.net/ and download the "SDK Prerequisites installer" and run it. It will install the required files.

What was so complicated to get those files yourself in the first place anyways? Seeing that the docu actually tells you were to get the stuff...

If Jonwil's resources failed, try the one from Mastermind:
http://cnc3.net/item-143?addview

The included files there were exactly what he used at EALA when he developped the documentation for the SDK.

Mod.xml is the main file of your mod that includes every other file of your mod (directly or indirectly). It must be located in
\Command & Conquer 3\MOD SDK\[name of your mod]\Mammoth\Data
and will be processed as the first file of your mod when starting BuildMod.bat with your mod´s name as parameter.

Say, did you read the documentation?
