Your grid is bugged, and even YR Arg's grids are needlessly thick.

SHP Builder has a built in grid function.

here is a grid base I use, straight from SHP builder. Very Happy
(TS only grid)

The built-in grid could be better as well. Banshee, MSN me if you want some help on the grids.

It was a quick job from a non-Delphi coder, what do you expect? #Tongue

it doesn't matter why he brought it back, or when. Fact is he did, and it's mostly relevant, and PD is awesome enough to be able to do that, and Hyper what the FUCK is with your avy?

REALLY!?!?!? I've never made a building shp in my life... Although, I'm about to start for my mod. But, why wouldn't you just open up a terrain tile in SHP builder, copy it over to paint and put a few together to get the sizes for different size buildings??? Sorry, but I do all my shp work with a copy of the pallet in paint. A lot easier if you ask me...

Yeah, but a lot more free. It has more tools for the actual design of the SHP, while the builder has control over things like frames and such. I just don't see how people render a 3D object into SHP with the right in-game scale!

Personally I set up a blend file that through trial and error is pretty much one grid square = one tile from the camera that is set up, making it easy to model the correct size. 3DSMax users can use the max scripts to create a dummy objects to give an idea of scale (I forget who made them I'm ashamed to say).
