This ones been bugging me all day. I've used VK's INI checker before I tried my modifications in-game and have deleted the demolition truck I've recently added from my rules and art.ini, I've also gone over both my rules and art.ini and I can't find any problems. When I start up my TS, I select Firestorm, go to play my custom campaign, and It crashes after about 5 seconds on loading the campaign.

Edit: OK, I've narrowed it down, the problem is located in firestrm.ini, I've removed 3 buildings from it, and it worked perfectly fine, then I put these building codes in my rules.ini instead, and it crashed. So something is wrong with these codes:

255=JAHCITY2
256=JAHCITY3
257=CITY35

you use numbers from 255-257, but if firestrm.ini adds its buildings to the rules.ini buildings, the list goes up to 259 (249=GAGREEN + 10 firestorm buildings).
Do you added firestrm.ini stuff to your rules.ini before you added your own stuff?
If not this could explain why the game crashes, if it tries to find a firestorm building, but actually finds one of your new buildings.

I've not added any of the firestrm.ini stuff to my rules.ini. Could there be a fix for my issue without having to add all the firestorm stuff to regular TS? (I feel stupid asking questions like this, but my coding is really rusty).

i don't know, it was just an assumption by reading the code how you got the IE. Maybe it's also something else, but i can't decipher except.txt's.

But since FS adds their list entrys at the end of the appropriate rules.ini lists, it could end in a mixup, if you don't have the FS stuff in your rules.ini. Because then the lists would be different between TS and FS.

I've had a similar issue when I made the Odyssey test map -
if I added any more buildings to the list in rules.ini, the map would freeze upon loading.
I thought it was a problem with the buildings, though when I added them on a different map, they worked fine.

We think it has to do with a bug in our "cracked ground" LAT, but I can't say for certain what the actual issue is.
I could put a good bet though that your error is related to terrain.

Aro have you checked if the ' works for Name= like

Name=TSHyper's
Name=Aro's
Name=Team Black's

It might be the cause of the crash (I have not tried it myself).

The only other thing I can think of that I have myself experienced some few times is corrupt .SHP file

The names worked flawlessly in TI mission 1. However, now whenever I try to load up the map or any other mission or skirmish for that matter, It crashes. It's not related to terrain AFAIK. This has really got me.

Err strange, no usable EIP, but the last think the stack has of use in it was some MIX file loading...

Perhaps its a corrupted SHP or MIX.

Could it be one of the structures that are listed above? I'll take a look and see what I can find.

Edit: OK, this is really weird yet good. I deleted all the SHP's that where listed above and replaced them... It worked like a charm. Thats strange considering i have not touched the specific SHP's before this bug started occurring. Confused

Well the exact same thing happened on the TO test map I made, but the issue actually wasn't even related to the buildings (which were the parking garage, and the other 2 cylinder- buildings)
I put the buildings on my Special Delivery map though and there were no issues at all.

Try the buildings on a different map, and see if they work. I couldn't say exactly how to fix your map (I scrapped the defective TO test map)
but the only time I've encountered an error like this is when I've been working with terrain or temperat.ini

And djohe, I'm getting sick of telling you to shut up.
Just don't post unless you know what the hell you're talking about. How on earth do you hope to contribute to the discussion if you haven't even tested these bogus "solutions" you keep coming up with.

That wouldn't have cased an error, and shouldn't have been brought up, if you haven't tested it

Map corruption is not uncommon. I once started my most promising map ever (it was like 150x150 with all different height levels and the whole map was covered with rivers and narrow passages and cliffs..) but ended up getting an error before i ever put any detail or overlay on the map. I eventually gave up on that map.

I Hate IE's. I got this one by adding new terrain to my mod, then next thing you know I get this error. I Assumed it was the terrain, so I removed all of it and everything else I recently added, yet I'm still getting the error.

Last thing in the stack i can see that is of use is a bit of code that relates to IsometricTileTypeClass_LoadTile.
