is it posible to make units/buildings in 3dsmax 2008 and use them in CNC3?

moddeling: yes
use of cnc 3 shader and exporting: afaik not possibly, cause the plugins are for max 7 or 9.

Max 2008 doesn't seem to like the shaders (.fx) files that come with the C&C3 SDK.
