I've looked everywhere for a tutorial on how to add a radfield to where a missile crashes into the ground, but so far I have come up empty handed. Should I add a deathweapon or is there another way?

i'm not sure but don't you just add the tag radiation(or what ever it is) and radlevel to the weapon code and cellspread to the WH, please do correct me if i am wrong my ra2/yr knowledge is rusty

you are correct armored cal just keep in mind that the higher the RadLevel the longer it stays and the more damage it creates.

I forgot to mention that it was a spawned missile with it's own definition as an Aircraft Type.... Sorry

i am not so sure but, what about the warhead of the demolition truck yust
make a copy of it

i alredy triyed and it works when a misile hits the target it lefts radiation

yep aircraft e.g v3 use a death weapon so just put the codes on the death weapon

I've tried every variation of deathweapons and they all seem to not work. I've tried the suicide= tag, the radlevel=250, cellspread=5.. I've tried a lot of different warheads too and it all ended up being the same...

Can I just say something: You're making a lot of these question threads which is practically filling up the whole RA2 Editing forum. Just make one thread and title it, "Modding Questions" or something. I'm unaware of the answer as it's been over 2 years since I've touched the vanilla Yuri's Revenge .ini files.

Radiation warhead is controled by RadSiteWarhead= under [Radiation]

You can’t add radiation fields to spawned missiles as they don’t use normal weapons, they are controlled by specific tags in the [General] & [CombatDamage] sections.

Also apart from asking all your questions can you actually give us more detail in future e.g I want a spawned missile as when you said missile most people think standard projectile code.

You've done that more then once including missing out your using a exe hack and to be honest its damn right annoying at best.

Finally Mig Eater has given you your answer.

Also it seems from other peoples answers and your own testing that

Explodes=yes DeathWeapon=CRNuke (for test obviously) on a spawned missile has no effect.

Is it just me or have you tottally missed that modding the .ini files like artmd.ini and rulesmd.ini is CASE SENSITIVE like Suicide=yes instead of suicide=yes and RadLevel=250 instead of radlevel=250 and CellSpread=5 instead of cellspread=5, otherwise it wont work.

Look at the rest of the Rules(md).ini and you will hopefully understand

And if this aint the problem please start writing the code with the correct upper-case here at the PPM so no one else makes the same assumtion as I did right now.
