He should really learn to send mails to community sites though... apparently it's been up for over a week.

With this patch installed you are able to play Tiberian Sun, Tiberian Sun: Firestorm,
Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge over network by using the UDP protocol instead of the IPX protocol.

This means that you no longer have to install/configure IPX to be able to play these games on the local network.
The patch also adds Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 support for LAN play
as these were broken because IPX is no longer supported on these platforms.

I wonder if this spatch also works on RA v3.03... that one doesn't use the old thipx32.dll anymore, so the old patch was useless for it.

Oh, on that note, seems he also made a new version of the C&C1/RA1 patch Smile

As Johan has pointed out to me, and i have looked myself. The DLL does not work with executables that have been renamed.

Nyer, when you have time, could you get him to update it so it looks for a process rather than a exe in the directory?

This means it probably won't work with RA 3.03 then?

hm... game.exe huh? Then I might still get it working for RA95. Renaming RA95.dat to game.exe and adjusting RA95.LCF to run it is peanuts Very Happy

And Hyper, what's stopping you from modifying that string? :p

Johan also told me the strings have a fixed limit, and i cant find it...

Maybe i could add RA95 to it...

He also made a CSF editor, which I prefer to use over the XCC one.
