So ther is no SDK for KW comin in the neer future? Sad, reaaly sad, so its now time to hang them tools en efforts cuz its pointless to mod an old game wen ther is somethin that could have bee'n a better one (C&C3 KW could have been a better mod platform). The possibilities were so good or coul'd been.

i would like to share some of them pics of what i was able to mod in the short time i was interested in modding C&C3 (short time as in not as long as what i've spent modding Generals and RA2 befor that). sadly, however my mods will never see them light of day as finished cuz they were just my way of learning them in's and out of makin e game. I could still share them codes in makin some reaaly bad ass explosion and weapon effects etc. Time to go fella's, hope to god RA3 will be different than this.

Nice pics Smile Have I already told you your 3D skills own EA's skills #Tongue
Also, I would be modding TW, but then I miss some bad-ass things from KW... And I doubt some things can be simply re-created in TW due to missing logics (IE the Black Hand/Voice of Kane infantry boost ability).
Maybe I will restart modding on TW, but I've got other things to do first...

His 3D skills?!
Ripping models from other games arent exactly what I would call "3d skills.... especially since he didnt seem to unterstand the concept of DrawCalls in CnC3 :/

linked to The Forgotten and the 2 splinter fractions for them,logos backgrounds.. Everything.but Ea should really get their ass off a game which hasn't been released yet Mad

What's with some peeps in this forums? I just posted some pics from a mod i was workin, i never ever said anywhere that i've modelled everything in it. Mad I'm just curious why is it that some always see's evil things in my post specially about them ripped models. Its ripping if i'm posting them, its not ripping when others posts pic's of other mods(those with models taking from renegade etc..). Surprised

As to the high poly contents. I dont give a darn as long as i can run my game with those models and some. Draw calls whatever, i've tested my mod on very high settings with everything enabled/against 5 Brutal A.I (of course i used some cheats just to see how the game will handle large amount ot those units in screen)Razz

were here to help each other and enjoy modding and games are we not? So why be antagonistic?

Likewise, ripping models and rearanging them to what i would have loved them to look like is a tedius work that requires not only skills but imagination, and unwavering love (towards the game or whatever).

I do recognice some units from different games (Stealth/Flame tank from Renegade, UEF Commander from SupCom), but all other things are from his hand, even though they may be build from other units...

Clarkson is right,
the game for shelf-life is still early
I mean the first patch hasn't come out yet,
and from the looks of things its just gonna cause another need for a second one,due to this EA may consider SDK just to end unsuccessfull patches.but my thought is that They left the custom maps as a option
which as far as maps goes is custom single players maps,which need the SDK.

anyway enough of the off topic
I really don't see the problem
cool son may not of made the orignal units but he did edit them to
add them to the game and its pretty good to see his devotion of time towards it. one point needs some from of team colour on some units,
the stealth tank would look cool in blue Very Happy

That's also true. I think I will restart my TW mod (KW is much too unbalanced and I don't see much improvement with the patch...) to gain some experience, and to have some fun. I do hope my game CD will hold it (it's a bit cracked from the buggy DVD box >_<)...

Shouldn´t be more than an AttributeModifier triggering a special conditionstate as well, pretty much like the effect of Ionstorms on Scrin aircraft.
