Kirov Airship Mark II [RA2]
Subject description: I <3 Dirigibles But Dirigibles Hate Me :(
This unit was created with the intention of submitting it for raminator's TFOtbBPVCpbBaTMtnC. But things happened, the deadline came and went and yadda yadda-- who cares, here it is.
wow, the turbines look like they can bring this kirov up to supersonic.
I don't know if it's the map, but the colors are a bit bright.
And on the side views the dark lines from front to back are a bit pixely. Maybe you could add some shades of grey next to them, so they look smoother. In addition you could add some noise to the yellow texture, so it doesn't looks that plain.
Yeah, it's a juggling match between the main body being too bright and the horizontal lines not coming through on certain angles. Unfortunately, I'm done with it and it will stay as is.
Oddly enough, though, this voxel's texture colour was taken from my last blimp endeavor and yet the two voxels don't appear to be exactly the same. Go figure. _________________
Fantastic, though not as great as your last one. One of the features I dislike about this Kirov is that the lines stand out far too much unlike the Westwood Kirov and your first Kirov attempt. The 3D model looks good, but the voxel is meh... I'd prefer the original Kirov above this... This one is a bit too small and it looks like it has some bad normals. That may be the lines though QUICK_EDIT
Ugh. I hate leaving a job half done or half assed.
I'll tweak the base texture some more until it's reasonable and not a glaringly ugly banana.

It wasn't before but there were some angles where no remap would be visible. Plus no remap would make it the odd one out since everything else has remap logos.

Made for RA2 War Factories and not for make believe Zeppelin-only War Factories. Though that would be quite awesome.

Two things. This thing is ztyping sexy imho. Really is. BUt, Just two things irk me.

Just checking I'm liking the design I just wanna see if I can get permission to tweak the front to be a little more pointer like the RA2 version I will provide credit for the original version though

If your using it for your mod on ur PC u can do what u want with it, its when u want to release it publically that permission is worth going for. However saying that generally if they release the vxl publicly, its with the assumption it will be used in a mod QUICK_EDIT
Why would anyone not allow alterations to their public voxel? If they're that clingy to their creation then don't release it.
And it's out of courtesy to give credit to the original creators. Of course, if someone thinks they're smart and claims it as their own, the chances of someone else calling out the bullshit is quite high. So be nice.
SSTG, alter it in anyway you see fit. Stretch it, shrink it, explode it, replace the Soviet's logo for a Pokemon; I don't care. Good luck on your mod. _________________
