I have question regarding C4d. Anyone who uses it here to mod Ra2/TS, how do you render it to the right angle, colours and shadows etc? Do you convert it to 3ds and then render with that or something else?

You might want to try contacting Droke directly, he's the only person I've seen still around who uses C4D. If you're lucky he might just be able to send you a scene (or the equivilant) that's already set up.

You're an idiot, refrain from posting about things you have no clue about.

It would be good if Droke post here about it.

I don't know if that link solved your problem or not, but if you need I can post a template I use that has a camera/lighting system that Meselfs made. Really sucks that he left.

Edit: I just read through that article, it was written by Meselfs, so the light/camera I have is perfectly aligned by what you read.

And a side note: You can render with AA if you use a custom palette for conversion. Just make sure that the background/remap color(s) is seperated far enough away from the others that SHP Builder will not index it wrong. If you make the shadow color a darker form of the background you can render it at the same time, then seperate it after the palette is applied. This requires you to fix a few pixels here and there, but its really quite fast Razz

A template would be great. I know it sounds lazy, but I really dont know what I'm doing with cameras and such. #Tongue

Here's the file. I left a building in there so you can see how it all interacted. Make sure you change the settings to work for you. Things such as ambient light, type and position of the second light (I sometimes use a number of them), filters (I have a sharpening filter on), and other such stuff. Hope this helps you. Smile
