Life is being hectic recently and right now I'm very tired, but considering the amount of news that I still have to post here to catch everything that happened in this month, I'm doing some additional effort to post this news. I still have two works to do for monday, I have to add some resources from Dead Dragon Mods that died with Savage War on YR Argentina, among a lot of real life activities that I'll have in the next days. At least I'm glad my CAE exam is over and so far, it looks like I did well. But I'll only know the result in august.

First of all, one big news in this month is that the most useless Announcements forum ever on EA C&C forums became something useful: The Community News which is being regularly updated by Kibax. For those who have a news about your mod, read this announcement and submit your news to Kibax.

With that said, let's get to the other news:

The Big Bomb:

-> Fan Made Patch 1.03 for The First Decade: While EA has forgotten this patch, the fans never forget it. Nathancnc, with Nyerguds support, has done an interesting package that fixes many problems seen on The First Decade. Here's the changelog:

-> Full fix for classic cnc (1.05, stealth, thipx32.dll + both playstation & n64 missions)
-> RA1 - reworked main.mix, ant mission fix, thipx32.dll, (and option to install the 3.03 patch if you so choose)
-> TS - reworked movies03. mix & maps03.mix and LAN game on Vista
-> RA2 - westwood maps for yr (1-5), terrain expasion and LAN game on Vista
-> Renegade - all maps remade with bots for practise (& put into practise rotation)
-> TFDLauncher - fast launcher included
-> Themes: Westwood themes included for cnc1, ra, ts, ra2, renegade. All themes are optional, it will ask if to install them

-> HeXetic, at Planet CnC, has posted a big article on C&C3 interface problems called SAGE Advice: Psychovisuals. His article covers from clipping problems, to colision issues and other absurd things you'll see in the game, written for dummies.

-> According to this article, from Video Games Live, Hell March 1 and 2 from Frank Klepacki will be performed during the Henderson/Las Vegas performance at the Henderson Pavilion with the Las Vegas Symphony. Some key people for the C&C franchise like Louis Castle, Mike Legg and Adam Isgreen will be there... and of course, performed by Frank Klepacki, his band and the symphony.

-> The crew from CnC Generals World created CnC Labs to be the home of their mods and utilities. And announced their new C&C3 mod called The Forgotten. As the name says, it should bring the Forgotten faction back to its glory, now in Tiberium Wars or Kane's Wrath (if a mod SDK is released for it).

-> Thumbs up for IconOfEvi's humours and complete modding news at Derelict Studios. He's covering every mod related news and even conducting interviews with random community members, such as Chronojam HERE.
