Frank Klepacki isn't doing all RA3 musics.
Subject description: Sorry to disappoint you, although Hell March 3 alone will be history!
From God to Kane to Frank (Klepacki)! Unfortunately, I'll have to interrupt all the excitement about Frank K. doing Hell March 3, but there is something that must be clarified. According to EALA, Frank is scoring Hell March 3 and few others. By few I mean, probably less than 5 or not much more than that. Most of the musics of the game are being made by someone else who wasn't announced to the public yet.
Here's the words from one of the allied pigs known as APOC on this subject:

Hey guys,
Frank is not doing the entire RA3 soundtrack, he is doing Hell March 3 and "some other songs" which I cannot name right now. That said, when our embargo lifts late next week for the community summit, you will learn a whole lot more about our soundtrack and audio. We're extremely excited to have Frank on board in this capacity, and so is he.
At the very least, I hope ths pleases you guys, and our other composers on the game are generating some very exciting tunes as well.
This is a collaboration.
Thanks,
APOC
Comnrades, with Frank the game gets better, but the soviet union still has to evaluate these other composers. QUICK_EDIT

Nobody seemed to mind that Jarrid Mendelson did half of the TS tracks, to be honest his were better. Off the top of my head he did Flurry, Mutants, Pharotek, Lone Trooper and some others. Anyway, having other composers isn't a bad thing, it'll add more variety if anything. _________________

OK so the title tune and 'some others' will rock and that's it. While it's arguable that the 'other' composers for Tiberian Sun and Emporer did a 'better' job (I think they did:) EA itself has not managed to find decent muso talent from Generals onwards. So oh well. QUICK_EDIT
The remixes in KW were alright And we already know that the music composer from TW will not be making a return Last edited by TX1138 on Sat Jun 21, 2008 3:43 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
Jarrid Mendelson still is a really freaking awesome composer, his Ordos tracks in EBFD I listen to a lot, they're really that good.
Frank Klepacki is one of my favourite composers, anything which he composes is bound to be good imo, but I thought the TS musics like Red Sky and such weren't so good (most of us were expecting something awesome like TD's soundtrack, although some tracks like Valves, Killing Machine and Jarrid's Pharotek fit the game more). His fortes which I like is more in his funky industrial, rock/metal and electronic genres imo.
Jarrid and Frank tended to team up a bit more when they were back in Westwood I've noticed, in EBFD Jarrid did Ordos, Frank did Atredies and David Arkenstone (another one of my favourite composers) did Harkonnen. The game's music really fit together perfect, each side felt you were fighting for "their" causes on Dune.
Whenever I see Generals however or some new EA game, I can't help but think "gee, this is so cliched" in that the GLA was nothing more than a few arab songs, or the USA being "we are teh patriots". Same with TW, it felt so bland there was just no good quality to them in comparison to say Arkenstone's "Victory is Inevitable" and "Dark Alliance", two damn good songs from EBFD. So my expectations of RA3 from other composers are pretty low but hey, I'll listen to whatever they bring to the table and judge but needless to say I'm expecting the best pieces to come off Frank more than anything. _________________

Well if the 2nd composer is the one that rumors said (forgot his name), I think his tracks will at least be better than the Generals/TW crap, because I listened to some of his tracks online and while they weren't as original in style as Franks', they weren't bad.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Oh and btw Victory is Inevitable and Dark Alliance are my favorites from BFDs Harkonnen tracks as well QUICK_EDIT
