good music, but not too suitable for the dark atmosphere, IMHO.

Are you sure this isn't Blitzkrieg (the game, not the mod) for TS? #Tongue

After seeing the forest image, I would say...YES!

Yep...gotta check Rommel's campaign...
Pretty difficult, I spent too much time thinking what the hell to do with my initial units...while being sieged by PaK's and Semoventes...
On the bright side, the best missions were...oops I forgot...err..the russian one where you attack a underground production facility, and the Patton's mission (Rolling Thunder) where you have to rescue some prisioners, but I'm not talking about the last one...it was in snow theatre...

Awww...come on! Parallel Wars is so cool it reminded us of Blitzkrieg...Glorious Blitzkrieg...
Ok, back on topic...Are there any chances a beta could be released one of these days? At least something we could play?

Well i saw a video game about WWII with modified weapons.. I don't remember the name... It's not old, just 1 year or thing like that, a strategy game... I'll come back to my emory... Maybe we'll be able to take some ideas from there...

And about the beta sorry it won't be payable now we're just at the beginning of it...We haven't finished the sides yet, and it needs improvement... Sorry guys wait a bit :p

Out of curiosity, have you ever heard of 'Weird Wars', plenty of good parallel WW2 stuff there but it delves into more mystical-type stuff from searches for powerful artifacts, tech such as panzer suits, and occasionally zombies and some monsters. Probably too far from what you're wanting but there's plenty of potentially usable stuff for parallel wars.

Out of curiosity - will there be flat, german fighters which appeared late in the war?

Killer nazi zombies are almost as exciting as armored bears, no? If the chance exists for the zombies thing, perhaps all 3 sides have something similarly odd. Germans get zombies, Russians get bears(hehe), Allies get ???. Well you know, something like that. Obviously it's a bit borderline stereotypical, but everything has some form of stereotype chasing them, eh?

One thing I want to see is some nice maps and such that would be suitable to blitz the crap out of the allies. Might have missed it somewhere, but how many fronts will Parallel Wars feature? Hopefully Africa somewhere, as I'd like the chance to see the Desert Fox kick some arse.

Spy Blimps, like in Normandy. They should have a camera weapon and be deployed like Hornets. (possible on TS?)

Will do, but I'll make slightly more different one, one which looks more like it would work a little better. It was only a prototypw right?...no production version?

You mean the stupid tank destroyer with the 105mm gun and outside tracks it could tow behind itself? Rolling Eyes Just give the brits Centurions, they were only 2 or 3 weeks late for the real WWII

My new unit, The Zis Tri-Track repair vehicle also known as the Scrapper

It repairs, and it attacks, extreamly effective againts infantry if it can get close enough...best used in urban battlefields.

its not finnished yet needs some final touches, what ya'll fink?

I think this might be best as a half track, instead of a tri-track. Nicely done, nonetheless

There's a ZIS Half-Truck (ZIS-3 or 5 I think).
This is based on a battle tractor, with a track wheel. I don't know where is it, but there's a page despicting it.

Yea while I was making it...the tractor was in the backofmy mind...think I need to change a few tinythings tho.

Oh and the stability should come from the rear tracks which are far apart.

Also..no remap, for 99% of units...wana keep that historical feeling.

Thats what I said also Very Happy

Anyways... here are some ingame screens of the Zis Tri-Track Scrapper and the ripper panzer. the turret offset was slightly changed after screen ( I was doing somin stupid)

The pzkf ripper was changed, the gun moved to the side to not shoot its own blade off. The turret is based off a stug 3..... and the body is of a panzer 4 or to be exact a jagdpanzer 4/70v.

mabe it needs a little fix up on the side armour plates, and th back bit where exuasts are needs more deffinition, I realized you can't even see the exaust pipes after looking at the screenie.

Do not pay too much attention to the terrain.

on some of the tanks i cant even see the turret.

Btw the turret on the repair needs to be in the center line of Hva editer and put to the back with Turretoffset= so it actually rotates were you want it to Smile

only one should have done that and that one is called new green3 because it edits both dirt and green color sets, 1&2 only edit the green and not the dirt colors.

Yo everyone, I had fogoten....In my ignorance, to thank those who gave me links to reference meterial and helped with ideas, specially chielscape.

Also in my ignorance I fogot to answer some questions....One was the question of theatres and Rommel.

Well the mod will not feature the pacific theatre until after release. As for Rommel, He will be a very important part of the story.....Very!.

On a lighter note....here are some Sherman Colliopes Very Happy It's weapon shoots a volley of 20 rockets twice (runs out of ammo quick), I'll post a pic of them firing after the fireFLH is fixed. Also turret needs little more work on the top, (only realized after the screen).
