Argonaut

Unit Stats
Strength: Low -> Medium
Weapon: Dual Miniguns
Advanced Weapon: N/A
Speed: Medium
Requires: GDI Weapons Factory

Description:
The Argonaut serves as GDI's Anti Infantry unit and next-gen Wolverine. Improvements to mobility and firepower have been made to this new design. The Argonauts twin linked heavy machine guns provide excellent firepower against enemy infantry and can cause reasonable damage to lightly armoured units.

the walk anim in the preview looks great, but i fear that it doesn't turns out ingame that well too. Because ingame the unit won't stop after every step, it would look ingame like it's doing some kind of skating.
The feet must always move with with the same speed backwards so it fits ingame with the movement.

In this case the whole body should move backwards for the standing time and then the step forward must be large/fast enough so the whole unit comes back in the centre again.

You have a nice model there, and also a nice walking animation;which as LKO pointed must be fixed, but IMO just removing the last frame of each step would do it.
Also I would like to say that the lateral "toe", doesn't look too good in the last preview, it looks too big.

Reminds of Half Life for some reason...

Pretty good model

Could it be possible to simply rotate the foot 45 degrees inwards, that would give the Argonaut a sort of two toed foot rather than the two footed leg it has now?

is a single dude suppose to fit within the head? If so then scale wise that must be bigger than a titan

That's a bit odd yes, but that's merely a failure in our explanation then, just assume it fits and it doesn't sit in that tiny head. The design is all fine and happy.

Please read the description. The legs are the only unmanned part of this unit, the Argonaut is roughly just over double a mans size, whereas the Titan is massive, in in TO's case the Ares.

I assume its machinecannons will be effective against medium armored vehicles too when in large numbers

These things carve up battlefields. Seriously, the Wolverine is nothing in comparison because this one actually works.
...and looks good, two things the Wolverine didn't #Tongue

I personally thought the Wolverine sexy as hell!

When in packs, you just hear this constant hollow spinning gun chamber noise... Then you hear a boom after about 5 seconds.

I liked Wolverine design to a certain extent. It looked pretty realistic - not like a exo-suit that is in TO (although mods timeframe allows for that).

Maybe to you. xD

They were kindof geometric, I guess. Portopotty does come to mind.
I still love the unit for it's efficiency, though. Granted it sucks if the enemy brings some Banshee's...
