Well, I'm working on Space terrain for the Helios War
and i'm having an odd problem.
The set doesn't show up in Final Sun. The set does, but the tiles dont. :/
The terrain set peices are 10x10, which I know for a fact are possible to have.

the files names are now space01.tem and space 02.tem, both of which aren't working

Here's an image.

The problem here appears to be that FS reads your temperat.ini, just not the mix your files are in. If I were you I'd go over the mix again and then try with a tile you know works, something like a clear tile or whatever.

Also, you cannot compact a mix an application is currently reading, that's just not possible, so shut down any XCC mixers or FS-applications you have open, anything that may be the cause. Check whether it compacts properly in the info bar in the lower left corner. Because you hit compact doesn't mean it gives out an error message if it fecks up. Wink

G'luck.

okay.
I checked I renamed it lava04.tem (from the Odyssey mixes)

and it seemed to work there.. :/

so it's not the file itself.

there's got to be something with the code.

I also tried renaming it from space01.tem to spcblk.tem (changed it also in temperat.ini)

something's wrong, but I can't find out what.

Okay I fixed it. It was a coding problem. :/

I'm guessing it was the AllowToPlace= tag? With terrain some tags don't work as such, some cause Internal errors and others just cause general problems.

no, it wasn't that.
I actually never figured it out. I started over from the beginning and it's replacing the pavement fixes that I never use.
