well ok call me cheap but i downloaded red alert 2/yr off the internet.
so i got used to putting my mods in the program files off that.
then i just bought ra2/yr from a store, so its on a cd now. so where do i put my mod files like my ecachemd12.mix file and my rulesmd.ini file?

anyway ok i put all my stuff in the ra2 folder but all my vehicles are invisible now, i have the code and the voxels and stuff in there so now what?

That doesn't mean we help people who admit to having pirated it. Tip for the future... if you are going to discuss any software on a forum dedicated to it (and not to the pirating of it) NEVER EVER tell the people there you pirated it or downloaded it. If you aren't smart enough to figure out when the problems you are having are because of the face that its pirated, then you shouldn't be pirating or you shouldn't be asking about problems!

Remember that Voxels goes on Expandmdxx if that does not work then use another number that worked for me

It was a tip for future reference, I don't personally care one way or the other. For the record, just dump all your files into expandmd##.mix files and then dump that into the RA2 directory. There are only a few files that won't work from there since they are loaded later in the load order from another mix file (main loading screen for example).

Stephen1341, the VXL files that you put in the MIXs must have HVAs which you can make easily. Also, if they are defiently custom, you must make an Art.ini and rules.ini for every custom VXL that you have. OR!!! You simply rename the vxl file to something like rtnk.vxl meaning it'll turn the rhino tank into what ever the new vxl file with HVA looks like. That should help solve your problem.

rtnk is the mirage tank IIRC and it doesn't have a turret. when i do a quick look just to see what my voxel looks like i just use the grizzly. GTNK

I sayed that Voxels go on expandmdXX.mix Not just the art
