Making a new Cameo:
what went wrong with the Conversion ?
maybe I used the wrong tools but the newly created cameos according to the listed tutorials didn't turn out at all. The best results I finally got with the Cameo Generator from XCC Mixer:
I created a Cameo from Machines HWR Mech:
everything worked fine except the conversion from pcx to shp.
The new Cameo looks kind of gummy and blurry.
The same results I get if I follow G10N89TS tutorial.
Then I created the a new Cameo with the Cameo Generator from XCC Mixer. This looks better than the pcx converted shp file.
Maybe the reason is the 8 Bit Cameo palette which doesn't map the pcx file color palette.
I attached the files so you can have a look and try out yourself.
