Yes, I'm very nostalgic right and feel like glorifying myself.

Best friend's layout background. Images by me, code by romingnome (vance)

VERY simple photo manip, done for a friend

Soon I'll show a preview of the new AHS site. It's not too far from done. Smile

lol, the last one was pretty simple actually. just some overlays and a couple filters. I liked the outcome though.

any more comments?

5 years. XD

I'm actually much better with it, but these are my latest. Only the top two and second to last took a fair amount of work.

On the first one, the left side of your face has a major case of Neanderthal-forehead lol #Tongue. You render that scene for the AHS logo?

I'm not a filter-lover, but the first one looks good. However the letters kind of ruin the effect. Might be interesting for you to look up some things on typography and graphic design if you like PS.

Looking into typography is really worth it. It's quite a delicate business, picking a font, style, size, spacing... and then you need to think about the place where you put the text.

Don't expect good lessons from me, through... XD The prime reason why they kicked me off artschool was my bad typography skills. I'm more of a pencil 'n ink man.

and kerning! oh my.

Well, I see the strongest pieces are as follows.

The Guardian II, it really has a nice composition the filter effect sorta goes with it its not too conflicting or jarringly out of place...

AHS Logo. has a pretty snazzy appeal. to it. the render really sells the idea.

The web layout design isn't bad. something you might find floating on myspace or such sites. :p, a bit flat in some areas. but suffice.

Guardian.

- the Wings which came good, decent stylization but they are misaligned. notice how your shoulders go down in perspective and the relation to the right wing's positioning. :p possibly looking into mirroring the wing to take up some of that negative space to your right.
-Not sure if that brown smudge radiating from your face was what you wanted exactly...
-The title is on the edge, probably want to push it back into the layout. same goes for the other two, some of its cut off from the bottom.

Also the flaming globe..now if you where in the position of the viewer and saw this flaming globe would you grab that or the hand being offered to you? :p

the last is a filter job...

Dood u can use rasengan!?

Aside from the AHS which is pretty nice and something you might see on an advert... They're pretty generic looking myspace images there. Although if I am right in my assumption, they're meant to be as that's what they're for? #Tongue

Compared to your previous work, this is crap! Well two of them are really good, but the rest is just some nifty copy paste with a little filtering on them :/

Hmm. Well yes, but my previous works also took time.
Something I don't have in abundance. #Tongue

I've got a couple more here.

Album Cover for a friend. He actually used it, which is pretty cool. Smile

And of course the AHS Site preview

The website is very... big. Everything about it. That is just me though, I always have liked smaller text, borders etc.

well, I kind of wanted to go with the "overly large" feeling. It pretty much portrays the ambitions of the studio's purpose.

Although
I'm thinking of making the actual text smaller (maybe not the buttons, but eh)

Something about that preview just screams a nice shade of green instead of red #Tongue
