I'm really new to modding so can you guys please tell me how to make a MIX file out of a SHP, or whatever that is. And what tools I need.

Let's Say this:
A .MIX file is like a .ZIP file.
You can store in it more files (like .shp, .vxl, etc) so they actually get read by the game.
You will need the XCC Mixer and its utilities to create, view and edit a .Mix file.
