PPM RESOUCRES UPDATE TODAY AT (02.09.2008) update 2! 20.25
Subject description: CANCELLED
This project is cancelled and is dead.
Because nobody like the template and I cant make it better now. Not so many liked the idea or so this is cancelled. Not so many people care about it or.
And Banshee will never have host it because is from me :p and the template suck ass.
So project is dead and I hope somebody make a huge resource site then and not let everything old stuff die alone.
You need thank the list if the site could become hosted and true.
And when I think "why not make a huge resource site with revora, tiberium webs and a lot more side with much stuff and so on?"
Because all other resource site die out.
Then I try make a template but I know I sucked at it. But I got over 1GB with old mods, lost stuff. I even have PPM BANSHEE ABOUT THE LOST STUFF ON PPM BUT HE HAVE NOT REPLY TO THAT PM EITHER
After a half a year I get more experiences on template and web coding and I start to use Dreamweaver.
I send a PM to Banshee about a old template to the site and ask and write a bit about the site and so on.
What I got back was:

Good work so-far. However with the screenshots used for the different downloads i think they should all be "ingame" shots across the board. Rather then some ingame and some in VXL Viewer That way people can see how good they are ingame before downloading it.

I had this idea for over a years, like two years. This site will not only have voxel, and so on just from PPM. OLD and FORGOTEN voxels and so on. You will see what I mean later

As I have a bit of DreamWeaver experience, I'll try to give you some advice:
if you move your mouse over a button, make it change image, so you see it can be clicked on. Also, if you are at a page, let the button again use a different image so you see where you are. Makes navigation and usability a bit better
Also, I'd say you keep the main menu on the left side of the page instead of the right side... QUICK_EDIT

The banner may be 1280 across but the amount of screen a browser has available on a 1280x1024 screen is normally less than 1280 across. And it's far too big for anyone on 1024x768 which I'm pretty sure is still the most common resolution. So they have to wait for an image to download that isn't needed and doesn't even fit their screen.
Have a look at some other resource sites' layouts and read some stuff about web design.
The first page is alright, though the sides of the banner need to touch the edge of the page so you can't see the gradient edges. The main text should probably be a light colour as you have a dark background. The nav is interesting, but it's image based (it should be text, it's more stuff to load when you don't need it to be, and then have images for the top/bottom/sides) and the text should be spaced consistently if you really insist on using an image.
On the Red Alert page you've got a banner that links to that page which doesn't make any sense, and then when you navigate to a sub-section it doesn't link to the main RA2 page any more (when it might have been useful). Again you've got a navigation menu made up of images (this one could be 100% tables and text) that's very spread out for no reason.
Once you get onto the download pages it loads everything in one big list. You need to split them into more pages than you already have or people are going to spend forever waiting for images to load. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have them in two columns either, as there's alot of wasted space so there's twice as much scrolling down as there needs to be. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

If you read the text under the banner you just need to press there to get to RA 2 download section and when you press again you come to the homepage.

I like it, the red is a little bland, but it really can't be helped, and thank god you didn't use tables (so ugly to code and fix later).

He wont finish it, and I don't blame him as to why he wont. He put a lot of effort into both this site (as crappy as it may be present moment) and the "Lists" and no one really took that much of a notice plus its a lot of hard work to constantly Update things like a website and many different lists DAILY. It is a shame that he gave up non-the-less as these things (Especially the lists) did prove useful in searching. QUICK_EDIT

Maybe some liked the template? I don't know. I quit because I did a hard job on the list and nobody notice any update I UPDATE. Even ask question about new list and so on. Nobody are even say something and I could triple post sometimes before I get notice. .
I use a lot of time and I got no comments close. I think maybe Aro, Banshee or somebody make the list they willed be notice much faster.
So why somebody should care about this list to? Even its got stuff from others site but anyway no notice on the list was bah why not cancelled it nobody want it either so.
I even make a battlefield list on a Norwegian forum and I got notice everytimes is was update or a question how I could do it better but here on PPM nothing. This is why, understand it?

This is not true. If you do something that look good, I'd host it, but I must agree that, at the moment, the template kinda sucks.
