Subject description: Just another concept work

Now Something else for my mod:
I named it "Search and Destroy". Its an Radio Controlled Tankdestroyer.
It has only light armor but it is armed with an HESH warhead, which can easily break light tanks and do heavy damage to medium ones.
Besides the concept art it is inspired by the german "Goliath" and the german "Marder I".

looks like a toy tank with a lollypop barrel. Razz

the tracks texture could be improved too. (the color difference between the small track sections is too strong; black and dark grey would be better imo)

You're getting better and I agree with the guy above me #Tongue
Anyway try making large voxels and resize them using voxel bounds so that way you can add more details without dealing with the actual ingame size. Smile

At the expense of random black line normal errors and making it REALLY har to line stuff up in the hva editor.

How do you guys like the new brown Tracks?

Im to lazy to make ingames now...I will post them later...

I hate how things turn out ingame.
To do list:
Make the sides darker.
Remove the brown gaps from the tracks.
Make the tracks only in black.

why resizing....its a R/C Tank. Question

I made an new Version where I left out the brown gaps on the tracks.
Also I made it darker und the HESH warhead is now totaly red.
And there is more contrast now.

Nope, if you resize it down and auto-normalise then sometimes a black line will appear on the sides, it's not just me who had this problem, ask EVA-251.

I don't see nothing bad on size when it's Remote Controlled ROBOT TANK, with proper explosive warhead nothing unrealistic.

The only problem is 90% of your's tanks are smaller than have to be. Wink

So that's like a panzerfaust on the front? Ahhhh... you should make a W/O versoin without it, have it so it only holds 1 shot then must return to base and re-arm, but make that 1 shot quite strong.

I planned for it a reloading time of about 20 seconds, to keep the reloading simple but something like realistic.
Also I use the IFV rocket as main weapon (hoverrocket_e), but I will give it a damage of about 250
(normaly it has 80 and a grizzly has 300 lifepoints for comparison)

In the rules, I believe its all measured in 15 frames per second as a base, but as Lt Albrecht said, it really depends on the Game Speed and how fast your PC is.

i think 1 second=15frames @ speed 3 IIRC, so use that as a base
