Well,got Style XP and modified my windows for some time.

After I uninstalled it some things remained in windows.including this ugly problem with the icon text.

Can anybody help me?Any help apreciated.

Surprised and I thought MY desktop was messy!

Right click on your desktop and go to Properties, then Appearance the solution should be in there somewhere, though I don't exactly remember where.

@TB:This is one of the happy days,when its cleaned...

Oh,and you're right.Found it tought I dunno how to make it transparent as white doesn't work as transparent colour...

Click advanced and at menu there should be something.

Control Panel/ System/ Advanced /Performance click on settings
activate "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" at the bottom
then the box around the icon text is transparent

Nah,just had few months ago some problems with the comp,and made some radical changes(I simply don't want to reinstall my XP,I have other bad stuff on it! #Tongue )
