After playing TI, I started thinking about what soundtrack TI should have. Well, my usual ambient stuff wouldn't work, so I started practicing on fast agressive music.

I finished 4 pieces, some are long, some are short. Enjoy. And. It's. Aggressive. Very. some tracks seem to have messed up endings like a long roll-out or a sample that keeps running, don't worry about it

(Please take note these were made for personal practice, you won't see them in a soundtrack or such.)

As for what influenced me for these tracks... David Bowie - Low. Awesome album...

The 4th one has potential. The sounds need to be refined, but I like the 4th one. The 3rd I dislike the most, too... loud, if you know what I mean. The rest aren't really aggresive, they're kind of dark ambient. Definitely go in the 4th direction. It's good. Actually wait, the 2nd isn't ambient, my bad. The 2nd is decent.

By the way, HOW DO YOU UPLOAD FILES BIGGER THAN 5MB??

I must spread the most aggressive and evil metal music ever produced... but they are all over 5 Megs.

The third isn't recorded loud...

It's the same sound played on different notes at the same time, with different length and speeds, making the sound... grind and echo.

I Can't listen to these for some reason, they don't appear. Confused I Think its because I don't have Windows Media player so I can't play .MP3 tracks on here, Don't suppose you could send the .MP3 files to me? In any case, Aggressive music suits TI More I'd say. Razz

It has plenty of metal... it's just all pitchshifted and cut up...

hm,almost everything sounds like loud music, not like aggresive music.

Try working on an simple metal, don't put too much in it,but don't make it simple, and use some simple beats, with some extra techno on the background,is an win.

They sound more like weapon soundeffects rather than music. Sorry, but that's how I feel. The second one is the best, though, I think it has potential.

EDIT: Attachment deleted. I ztyping HATE DOWNLOADING LICENSES. From now on, when ripping, that feature is OFF.

Dude, your music should sound like this (ignore the anti-iraq crap... I mean, I'm not on the terrorist's side, or anything, I just don't care; it's all about the music.

I know Lamb of God, and I've progressed far beyond that point quite a few years ago in aggressive music. Besides, LoG isn't that much fun to mix with...

The tricks I used here will be used to mix a Nod track for TI, using Slayer - Chemical Warfare and some drumnbass drums.

So? They're uploaded here.. it's just the stupid plugin system that doesn't work well. Anyone with half a brain and a tiny amount of HTML & URL knowledge can get them from the page source, anyway -_-

Oh, and DoMiNaNt_HuNtEr, would it kill you to upload that in some sort of non-protected format? DRM junk is horribly annoying. It keeps crashing my browser.

Cannibal Corpse is always great for remixing and sampling. Many instrumental parts and the songs feature long repeated structures with excellent mastering.

I agree. Maybe thats why most of their song files are bigger than 5 megs...

Banshee, if you're reading this, is it possible to increase the file attachment size to 10 megs?
