If that tunnel doesnt work, I really dont know how to beat them. I mean, we start with 1 attack buggy and 4 light infantry. If we have to go through that GDI base with 2 wolverines, 2 light infantries and 2 vulcan towers, we die. The best I managed to do was to kill 2 wolverines loosing 2 light infantries. But it's still not enough...

Well I got by them and got to the GDI base, i'm sure you can. If you really need to know the secret get back to me Wink . I told you my missions would be hard. I toughened up the first by putting the tunnel out of order.

If I desesperately bring my guys directly to the GDI base, the Wolverines hunt them and kill them all... well, I'm gonna retry...

That is what you do. You just tell them to get to the GDI base WITHOUT fighting the Norton forces. Usually only the buggy will survive but he will have enough strength to kill the wolverene at the entrance to the GDI base so it says BASE LOCATED. Then build your base and kill them! Very Happy

BTW the wolve will eventually return to his post when you get far enough away!

I really cant make the buggy kill the wolverine, but I've found out an alternative way.


First of all, you order them to move to the GDI base... near the final wolverine in front of the base. A bit before the final wolverine, the other 2 wolverines will not hunt you anymore. Make sure that at least 2 units survived and one has enough strength to survive after one attack of the wolverine. Instead of a frontal attack, use one of the survivng units to go to the top of the map where there is a special entrance to the mountain that has to be attacked. Get through this entrance and attack the final wolverine from over the hill, but run away fast while the other, that is out of that wolverine's way, run to the GDI base.

There is a way to make tunnels work tho, you know that right? You have to do it in wordpad... the tutorial is over at some forum, forgot where... I can get you the link if you need it.

When you see the tunnel and think, "Oh my god is this mission easy or what? I only have to go through that tunnel right here!" You go up to it and the engineer says it is out of order so you then know you have to go around.

By the way i'll be adding an update to the first mission. Originally it was that when you destroy that wolve it said you found the base. But i'm going to set a local because those never fail (unlike other actions). Rolling Eyes

I can't wait to get it updated with the forth mission! Of course if you haven't heard yet then you don't know that the forth mission is about finding the spaceship (looking like a GDI Kodak) under Norton control. You must capture it and if nothing useful is found then you are asked to blow it to pieces! Then if you have been detected, you are asked to destroy all enemy pressence. I beleave this will be the best mission so far, no question! The thing is you need to rescue a spy from a Norton prision before the main objective because he'll tell you where the ship is located.

At the Norton base where the spaceship is you need to destroy the radar outpost unless you want to be detected (unless you already have been)!

BTW anymore comments and stuff should be posted in the RAMPAGE announcment topic. Since you have figured out the first mission this problem has been solved and gone way off topic! Surprised
