The guitar needs to be a little deeper and the bit that in RA2 had the squids and typhoons needs a lowe rsound. Apart form that I'm not so worried about HM3 sucking anymore, it looks like they didn't keep too much of a hold on frank #Tongue

EDIT:
Just watched it again, the unit designs still bug me but at least the way they're using them is badass, like the tank crashing ashore and the way the seawings burst out of the water on the move instead of retardedly popping up like the ingame footage on the RA3 site.

Completely blew my mind when I heard it.

The trailer was great as well, some VERY nice CG scenes. Too bad it probably will be limited to the intro.

Edit- The Soviet scientist sounds very much like Private Straus from Quake IV

Well I kinda assumed the Empire wouldnt appear until after a couple of missions, so those scenes at least should be later on.

Well those people looked like from 1920's which is American cliche, making soviets older. During soviet times there were normal living, normal dressing, like in outer world, just with almost any extravagance (people in socialistic part of central Europe had worse stance against people with different colour of the skin. Russians have been very nationalistic, but they had more nations around them). I know those hitmen returned to 1927, but then they returned "back". In modern post-socialistic republics (worse on Moldava, Ukraine and Russia, dunno about "Whiterussia", erm Belarus) the economical bubble poped + some people (former communists - today anticommunists, bussinesmen, oligarchs) privatized state property (aka stolen via (and with) their friends from old socialistic times).
In the early 1990's many people in collapsing USSR ended on the bottom (became cruely poor) of the society, mostly pensionists and people without some University education (maybe another cliche is here, yes there were quality Universities around WHOLE Europe, same or better than in USA in that time).
Specially skilled (qualified carpenter, q. mason, ...) have been better with their life conditions. The top class formed among formers communists and criminals (mafias). Facilities and kolkhozes bankrupted (like in whole socialistic block). The conditions in today's Ukraine is so bad 60% of the people there have almost returned to the 19th century! The only difference is they have electricity, TV, radio, fridge, very old car or a horse (!), sometimes PC, average wage is some 140 Euros (like their army veteranist pension) here in the CZ it's some 1000 Euros (and they were a superpower), prices are only little smaller than in Austria, higher than in in the CZ, same as in Croatia. Internet is expensive, sometimes isn't present, without software pirates they couldn't get any new software. I know one Ukranian and I know he is the leader of carpenter team and his wife does administrative for boss of one firm in Kyiv, they have together little more than 1200 Euros. What I have heard Russia is better in this (less poor people), but I have also heard people in Russia during hard times after collapse were hungry (!), bus driver sat on stub during ride (!), but today they have better live conditions (dunno about impacts of the 2nd great depression) a bit.

EA looked on Russia in 1990's and stalinistic North Korea and the order from the government. In the conclusion they did game politically totally offensive against the Russian Federation and socialism (even though same people (and their families) still rule there and lead companies).
And against Japan robots. #Tongue
The Generals was so kind to moslims when I compare this video from Red Alert 3. Search for some buildings from the Stalin's era to compare with those old buildings on the video. More than those old building there should be concrete blocks of flatts and functionalistic office buildings. USSR had enough money, but too much of them were built from nothing (search for something like plan successed on 150%).

RA1 showed Stalin's methods (realistic), RA2 showed communistic pigs (top personnel really lived like milionaires, they had even their personnal servants, those people are even more rich today), RA3 shows USSR outmoded, which is American cliche (and this can fulfil definition of the propaganda http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propaganda ).

Too cartoony, too anti-soviet, but maybe I will play it. Wink
The only realistic human on that video was that poor hunter.
His last words were probably: "Oh 5h1+ 0_0"

Those SWs are ++, unreal Japanese mech and old-looking sov. tech are --. Depends on the gameplay if it's good to play. What I know game magazines gives more than I give, even 80%! I would give it 65 % if gameplay factor is high.

That HM version seemed like HM2 remix, not full HM3. It's bad a bit if this is HM3, I have expected more. Not bad, but not enough for me. Wink

I wasn't aware that the game made Americans out to be completely good guys with no bad traits whatsoever. Everyone is stereotyped in this game, the Americans, the Russians and the Japanese. The game isn't meant to be taken seriously. At all.

RA3 aims for political incorrectness. No one should take it seriously.

Well, I think Russia and China will ban this game anyways. #Tongue
(which doesn't matter for players of CnC series, because there are pirates everywhere)

Russia doesn't ban games. China has no reason to ban the game.

But anyway... I kinda think that remix HM would fit a bit more as HM3. But I guess frank wanted something, a bit different (he had too much Universe at War, as I see it #Tongue).
