While I appreciate the sentiment of helping out fellow modders, the readme does say not to redistribute under ANY circumstances :p

Really, I thought it was pretty clear myself :p

That said I really don't have a problem with this for the moment. However if Cannis were to come back tomorrow and ask it be taken down I, even if not given alternate official hosting I would expect his wish to be honoured. I would also expect all other requirements of the readme to be honoured by any recipients too Smile

Yer,AFAIK the moderators of the websites which Cannis owned gave free will at taking the resources(with proper crediting,ofcourse).

But just AFAIK,I'm not sure...

I know you were trying to help the community and I don't have a problem with it... I was just pointing out the fact the readme said not to. Since I'm cited as one of the authors, you could have asked me first before putting it up. Overall I'm not sure ad hoc posting of assets from the c-gen sites is the best way to go though.

Deformat... no, they didn't and anyone that said they did is lying or misrepresenting what agreements there are. Some stuff is officially mirrored and posting requests for things to be added to the mirrors at renegade projects or what is left of the C-Gen forums will likely result in anything else you want from any of the C-gen sites being uploaded.
