Command & Conquer: Resources Site

We have to thanks Tiberium Studios for make this thing to work.

Look on the new forum at:

Forum

We will post news on that forum and lesser news on PPM. This is because the site is not hosted on PPM but on TS.

I will post some others news here but not a lot like I did.

The site will have:

* New design
* Easier to navigate
* A lot of stuff on it, NOT only FROM PPM!
* Mods, (If the mods leader say is okey I put the download file on this site.)
* History about Command & Conquer games, Westwood before EA take it over and to EA who make TW and RA 3.
* Renders, beta test scrennshot, and stuff about cancelled C&C games.
* Site will be on English and (NORWEGIAN-(?).

Banshee diden't know about this. I think I got another host, because PPM need better template to be hosted Wink

A rule of web design, just because you have a high resolution, dont mean everyone else does. Website standard is 1024x768, thats perfect, no need to go any higher.

If you want it to fit whatever esoltuion the user has (more dynamic and better in your case) use tables.

I think I will stand with 1280*1024. I can't code the site so is fit every resolution. You know what I mean.

As for my point, you shouldn't ruin such an excellent concept and website with your (sorry man) really bad english.

I know I have bad English, but thanks to PPM and a great thanks to Judeau some have helped me a bit with my English.

If you think this English is bad you can think before.

I have even dyslexia so how I speak and write language is not so funny. Anyways you and rest understand what I mean.

This is a bit messed up because I just want to show a preview.

We work on some codes and table so the site will work for a lot of resolution Smile

Download section is really soon finish. Download stuff and so on is soon finish. Much to do. But is still 15% finish.

I got dyslexia aswell Ander, so i know what its like.

No offense but you are just putting together fonts and images at random. If you want it to look good and catch the users eye, you gotta use bright colours and media that is new/hardly used stuff, this will make the user think about what hes looking at.

As for typefaces, choose stuff that resembles a style of the images. Images with various colours and such like sharp fonts, just using a typeface for its link to a game or such does not always work...

And try your best to stear away from using images for fonts, might look better, but its not a good thing to do. Make headers and titles with images and fancy effects, use plain, common type faces for paragraphs or columns.

Btw, the font used on a lot of C&C manuals is/was Kudos SSI.

That's because I clean and get permission to host files from other sites.

Maybe next update we got a a bit release on a freewebs server or another to just test the code and the user can test again.

Is the template and not a picture. So you just load the template and the picture are on them.

Then text over the picture again, some are write in codes #Tongue

Yeah, but I don't want a long list on the left.

The caterogies is better for this. Is a lot of stuff just to do it to the left. Is will maybe be a mess.

But now is more visible and better, if you don't like it fine I like feedbacks anyways.

But the site will be like that. I'm sorry but that's the way the download section will be.

You don't need every sub-section on the list, just your main categories (ie each thing you have an image for, so RA1, RA2, Shp Buildings, etc).

When you press SHP like say on RA 2. Then a new menu come up with buildings first. You press cameos, the cameo show but the menu on the top stay there. To get back to buildings you press on buildings again.

How I come to the frontpage or the download section again? Press Home, or Downloads on the navgiator. Easy isnt?

We have got a host so PPM lose it :p. I gone to host it on https://www.tiberiumstudios.net/.

I making pictures and so on from stuff and I want you to send me more stuff to the site.

I have PM Mig Eater about YR Argentina and some others. Hope for a respon there..

Frontpage and download section is 100% finish.

Again a update:

We going to have maybe two download section site.
One with a list to the left and one with the pictures. We really don't know yet.

We need to code it first and then we going to see what some look best for the site.

Anyways I think I will make a new logo to the site and the banner will be the same.

The database is finish and we can maybe start upload stuff tomorrow. If we are locky. Somebody have msn to Mig Eater? Send it to me on PM, he don't answer me on PM.

I will have stuff from Tiberian Graveyards to the site. All stuff on the site will be downloadable on this site. I have speak to the author to the site. Called: dark_elf_2001

He say I can put Lao Tze files and the rest files on the site. This was a great news!
