Maybe make them customisable so people can put their own 'tag'. I've seen it in other forums and sofar haven't seen it cause problems. Just an idea anyway QUICK_EDIT

I think my points are valid because I have seen many low-quality posts and posts that prove me why you shouldn't a moderator. The crap forum isn't meant to be spammed in, it's just meant to contain all the spam that grows. Besides, it makes a bad impression to spam even in the crap forum, doesn't it?

You're not making much sense here kiddo... Are you saying I Spam more than most people here? Cause if you are, I think that's total crap. Everyone does the odd bit of spam, even you. The Crap forum is obviously there to Spam in because that's where spam goes! I Disagree. Just cause of something you do when you first join or are not to familiar with how things role on particular forums and then learning that its wrong and tell other people not to do it so they don't get in trouble doesn't make you a Hypocrite.

Crashking, I think Nods Viper qualifys as a moderator, even a global moderator! Everyone spams from time to time even you and I. I dont think a few low quality posts doesnt matter, infact I think its a pluss. It makes the users know that you arent just a "cold blooded" guy who just are there to lock topics and ban people.
Even moderators and adminstrators are alloed to say something like "OMGWTF I HAZ BIRTHDAY TODAY!!! :DDDDDDD!!" once in a while.

It should be judged on what's been seen, not necessarily uploaded. If your assets are in a mod you get points or whatever for that.

Eh, I think it creates a certain amount of competition that is not needed, the bad kind of competition I mean, where people gloat at each others' ranks or claim they are better than others.
I know for one that the examples of people that should be awarded those childish titles you have provided are relatively new and although they have uploaded quite a bit of work recently, they haven't been doing it as long as many more people. Also, why are you people not counting in the modders eh? We have extremely talented and devoted people working on more than a dozen mods at PPM and those people are probably a lot better at what they're doing than those who make public assets, at least, that has been the general trend the last... what, 9 years?
So I'm heavily against ranks of any kind. Btw:

I wouldn't go around saying coding god, mapping god, voxel god etc or anything. Just say if a member who has posted tutorials or lots of media etc, people who have been helpful towards the community should receive a basic set rank just mentioning or highlighting they have made a contribution. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
