who has the better looking and acting Vxls.....MigEater (DDay) or SmurfBizkit [<-- spelled right??] (Blitzkrieg). It is a question not slamming either of them.

Why do ppl always think of Phoib, [DK] Phil is the one who runs Blitz1 >.>

As for who has better vxls it's a bit of a pointless question seeing as I make vxls for Blitz too. D-day & Blitz even use the same vxls for a few unts.

Laughing Stupid question is definitely apt then... But blitz moved to gens and last time I checked nobody did anything with PBlitz I for ages.

I have the units from Blitz & I like them, I just DL Migs, saw he had a lot of stuff, I havent had the chance to look at all of them, but it appears he has a lot of cool stuff, I am trying to make my own WW II mod and would like to use from either person. Great work by both people.

Seen the DDay stuff, love them....can't wait for the mod to come out.

If you know how to open the mod packs (blitz, purple alert, Asian alliance to name a few) then you can find the shps and voxels that are inside. But as for ripping them. I have not released anything as of yet with any of the shps/vxls. I will be asking SmurfBizkit for permission to use the stuff giving full credit in a manual and in the screen credits along with various other people who have helped

Generally you ask for permission before you rip stuff... Rolling Eyes I doubt he will let you use them anyway.

Well, I wouldn't considering it ripped unless I release a mod. It is still in development. The only thing I like better then the one you posted is the color of the German tanks (viewed with voxel creator). I'd have to put them in game to see which I'd like better. I am still in the stages of creating maps of Europe so my mod is no where near completion, maybe by the time they are done I will have learned how to make my own or one of my "team" will have done something for the mod.

FFS people should really learn how to create their own graphical assets than ripping them. Its really not hard at all once you get the hang of it. Voxelling/3D modeling isn't impossible, have the patience to learn and you'll get there. In short DIY, because nobody is gonna hold your hands all the time. Rolling Eyes If its not your work, don't rip it because we all want our own projects to be as unique as possible. Otherwise use public assets.

Well, thats the reason I pick apart the mods. I try to learn how things are designed and work. I can see what works what doesn't. 95% of the vxls don't interest me. Not crazy for these crazy troops or vehicles that are made. I check out the AI files to see what they do, how they react, but nothing interested me so I tried my own. If I had good pics of WW II tanks I would make my own. As for making buildings, that is a skill I have not yet mastered. So far I like what I see from MigEaters vxl pack. He said it can be used, but I have to resize them for a better look. And he will get credit when I release my mod/campaign. I will not release anything without asking and receiving confirmation of permission. If that fails then I will have to find someone who can create something for me. I'll pay for it if the price is reasonable.

if you want to use Blitz1 voxels you have to ask phil or me for permission not smurf...he was part of the blitz1 for a long time...but when generals came out he moved to that...

and the answer is simply NO

If I decide to "use" any of the things from Blitz 1..... I will be sure to send you a PM for permission. I haven't looked at the German vxl that Migeater posted and said could be used. But so far I love the German tanks you had in the game. But I will only use the vxl (with permission) if I can not find a decent 3D pic of tanks, something I can personally rotate to get a better view of the vehicle. Like someone posted its better to create your own than use someone elses stuff, but the pics are my downfall. Maybe you can tell me where you got your pics from so I can create my own.

I did that already, I didn't get anything looking at. That is why I asked if someone knew a site.

What German tanks are you even looking for? Unless it's some rare & obscure prototype you can find thousands of pics using google...
