I apologize for the inconvenience caused to those who have already submitted. I work for an Aviation Unit, and we've lost 3 birds in two days due to high winds and fog. It was me. It was offtopic, and unnecessary, and got on a few people's nerves, of whom I also deleted their posts to save this thread from becoming a flame fest. This wasn't the place to post volatile statements, regardless of intention

As far as I can tell, this extension allowed at least 2 more people to take part in the comp who otherwise wouldn't have made it in time, so I'm fine with the extension, even though it probably further reduces my chances QUICK_EDIT

I have just sent my entry. There were just some complications (full inbox) of PM to daTSchikinhed. I have solved this with e-mail with some 750kB (WIP stages which can't be send via PM). So I hope it hasn't been wasted.
My voxel isn't big, but I don't think it's small, it hasn't been done from any model neither blueprints.
Only making voxel took 6 hours (total 11 hours).

paulzy, my attachbox is only 35% full. I dont know why it wouldn't send. My inbox is 3%, so i know it's not full.

My attachbox is almost empty (0% full), same sentbox.
Well, I have tried to sent it via e-mail, but some error happened:
Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems.
I have sent e-mail again (from some reason it's bigger a bit), but PM is being blocked somehow.
From some reason it's impossible to send bigger files, 750kB is impossible, I have sent some much smaller to other judges, but even such small aren't possible to attach to PM for you. I have tried some tricks to PM it, the most important parts have been sent. unlike that package from the EA
2nd mail seems to be sent properly. Can be these problems be caused by different coding (different from the UTF-8 : like ISO-8859-2 or Windows1250)? (There's some automatic e-mail head caused by integrated mail client from e-mail provider.)
But it seems the most important parts have been sent (without WIP stages, there are in that (2nd) e-mail). It wasn't easy to pick them file by file to fit weirdly small 113 kB limit.
Well, it is very weird bug. Probably database problem... other possibility could be amount of PMs in my PM boxes (20/20), but this bug is bigger (like the Goliath bug) when I send PM to you than PM to Team Black or Roach (like the maybug). weird... all I can do is to hope you have those files now. _________________

I succeeded with the "going at it blindly" method but yeah check the tutorials, there's some good helpful stuff out there and looking at other voxels is also a great way to figure it all out. QUICK_EDIT

I try to get a hang on every type of skill as much as I can, so far I got a good handle on 3D modeling, Voxelling, and mapping. I just need time to learn more photoshop so I can make custom textures and stuff. But again, I have my pros and cons about them. _________________

Well, I think there should me somewhere (but not colliding with public voxel vote, rather in some special topic) pool which method did you use for this competition, but rather it should be some questionary like:
Did you use blueprints? YES/NO
Did you make a 3D model first? YES/NO
If so: - did you textured this model before conversion? YES/NO
- did you fixed some bugs (like black dots of death) after conversion? YES/NO
Did you make voxel completely in voxel editor? YES/NO
Did you use texture tool? YES/NO
How frequently do you make voxels in this way? EVERYTIME/ALMOST EVERYTIME/USUALLY/SOMETIMES/RARELY
Maybe it would be better to create some more general (not for just this competition) questionary "How do you make your voxels?" _________________

Updated the lists a few posts above.
I really hope Aro and ScorchedEarth will submit their voxels as well. The more submissions, the better the comp, IMO at least. Even if it means more work for the judges
It's a bit of a pity though, that LKO and Machine didn't participate this time. On the other hand, of course that raises the chances for everyone else QUICK_EDIT
I won't be able to finish my original entry, so I'll have to submit something I was going to release from my mod for public use.
EDIT: I got mine in just now. Technically, I made it last year for anyone living in Europe because in North America we're still a few hours away form '09.
