This competition has no theme restrictions so feel free to make whatever you want. Originality is what I'm aiming for as you are allowed to make whatever you want, anything from your favorite game/shows to whatever good ideas that you're dreaming of.

4 - The voxel you submit must be completely new, not based off anything and never seen before anywhere.
3 - PM all judges, not just me.
4 - Must not be based on a existing voxel as we want somthing completely new. (for example: if theres already an existing SR-71 Voxel, don't even think about making another one.)

Theme? How will theme be judged? Seems like it could be open for bias based on judges tastes. What if a guy makes a gigantic Pikachu voxel and no judges know what pokemon is, or worse, HATE it? That guy's gonna get shafted. QUICK_EDIT

I guess the competitors will have to send a concept art, or whatever is the source of inspiration and judges may check how that is followed according to the objective of the entry.
And when humans judge something, there will always be some kind of bias. QUICK_EDIT
But how will that be judged if you don't have a true concept art?
e.g., I made a tank in 3d (later converted to vxl), without any concept art
(except some blueprints, but they were used for only help of tank tread details). QUICK_EDIT

The last competition had EA's sponsorship. So, we had some restrictions that would help the sponsor to reach its objective, which was to promote the C&C 3 Deluxe Edition. That affected the deadline of the contest and the theme and made other things be kinda rushed, since we had a little time to set things up. Now, they are entirely free to set all rules.
And regarding the last contest, I guess the prizes are arriving at people's houses. At least, I've got an autograph from Joe Kucan . Peace through power! QUICK_EDIT

I don't expect concept art. Inspiration can come from anywhere. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT

I didnt ment the Competition itself, just the fact, that my Voxel sucked (in comparisson to the others) QUICK_EDIT
