Hey,
I recently extracted the logo01.shp from the sidenc01.mix. Its the spinning GDI Logo from the Score Screen I think. However, I can't find the right palette for it, none of the palettes from SHP Builder seems to be the right one.
Does anybody have an idea what the right palette is ?

As far I know the GASIDEFNT3 palette is the best one.

EDIT: it's in the TIBSUN.mix

I only found sidefnt3.pal, but not GASIDEFNT3. And sidefnt3 does not work.

irfanview can do the same and is free
-open with xcc-mixer on the cd the mix sidecd01.mix (for GDI score screen anims)
-extract score.pcx
-open score.pcx with irfanview
-in irfanview under Image/Palette select export palette
-convert the exported JASC 8bit palette with OSPalEditor into TS/RA2 Palette
-open with this palette the shp

Here's the abridged version: 4 steps instead of 6 and ifranview and OSPalEditor are not required.

-Open with xcc-mixer on the cd the mix sidecd01.mix (for GDI score screen anims)
-Open the second panel in the mixer and browse to a folder of your choice
-Right click score.pcx on the left and Copy as PAL
-Open the SHP with this palette

Note: XCC does way more than people realize.

That would indeed have saved time, but now its too late. But anyway, thanks for posting this, may come in handy if I ever have to find a palette again Razz
