A few question
Subject description: Change screen and Auto AI for enemy For Red Alert 2 v 1.0
Hi,
I got few question.
1. I made a map and I can play that map on the campaign mission. But, the problem is, the enemy did not build anything even I gave them a lot of money. How to set the AI so it can be a real enemy?
2. How to change the name and the icon of the player?
1-maybe this the AI don't build nothing because when you was setting the options of the map, you forget to make the final alert make auto-production triggers for the AI or you disabled the AI triggers!
2-For modify the icons you will need some programs:
-shp builder or paint shop,etc... -if you wanna make your own icons, use this-shp builder can be found here in PPM
-xcc mixer- for you extract almost all from the game and change the names,etc...
-xcc mix editor-to you put the new files in a mix file to red alert 2!
Optional: -RA2stredit: another program for you modify the text files of the game!
-First of all: if you have a created shp(the file format) locate the icons (theses that you want to change) and see they name, next change the one that you have and name it as the same name of the original, open the mix editor and create a new mix with the name as echache.?? (where ?? can be a number from 02 to 99) now you need put the file inside , save and move this file to the red alert 2 directory and voala, the icon is changed!
Alternative: If you have any new icon see in the RA2.mix with your xcc mixer the icon and extract it (don't forget to extract the .pal too) open shp builder and open this shp (the icon), you will see a lot of strange colors, okay this is just the wrong pallate, soo load the pallete that you have extracted and change it how you want, after this save the file and open the xcc mix editor and do what i said in the other way here beside this and voala!
If you wanna change the text, first open xcc mixer and in the language.mix you can found file named RA2.csf, extract it and open the RA2stredit, load this file and change what you want to change, next save it and place the file in your RA2 directory!
- Maybe somethings here are wrong, soo if anyone want to correct me or know a better way, just say!

triggers
The triggers are automatically in there and enabled. My nephew has the same issue. There is 1 event and 3 actions Is it supposed to be linked to?? QUICK_EDIT
Oke I found it.
Now is the AI. Im using Final Alert 2 v 1.0 and dont know how to set the AI. Is the AI setting option is on the dialog when I pressed the new map or somewhere else? QUICK_EDIT
