I was working on this map in secret, not letting you guys know, hehe. Anywho, this map of mine, made by me, is a REMAKE of the Red Alert 2 map Urban Rush. This map is pretty small in play area, not much room to scroll around and pretty much is small enough to be captured in three screenies XD

Now then, enjoy!

Background Story on this version...
It has been many years since the first Tiberium War, and many more years later since this area last saw battle between the Allies and Soviets. Since the Second Tiberium War began, CABAL has shown up again in the little town of Urbia, with some of his Cyborg forces. A Commander, learning of CABAL's presence comes here to take him out, but soon learns they aren't the only ones...

[EDIT]
I've redone the map a little, added some needed missing trees, and changed the lighting.

1. Tone down lighting to 25% of what it is now. Follow this guide: http://www.tiberiumweb.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=972 make a more special atmosphere for your map.
2. Add more detail; use slopes and don't have blocky pieces of sand/rough. Try having things more round and don't use the grounds randomly mixed, develop your map to have the characteristics of a climate. If it's desert, you should have very little grass except for a few oases maybe.

It's a remake, the original map didn't have any slopes Sad And I'll look at the values for the lights then as well, thanks for the link Very Happy

TBH the new lightning looks just as bad as the old one. Its way too dark, and you haven't used any colours.

The cyborgs in the middle isn't really a great touch. And the cabal cores foundations are bigger than the walls, the top left and top right bits are actually on top of the walls just its hard to notice.

I thought the CABAL core was 3x3... The walls are big enough to go around it..

It is 3x3, but even Westwood used a 4x4 area for it because the core overlaps the posterior cells.

The Core is one of a very few 4x4 Buildings - So it doesn't quite fit. Second best thing would be a Pyramid of Nod (IIRC it's 3x3, but I could be wrong).

Pyramid is 4x4 too Razz IIRC, the Tiberium Waste Facility is the only building in TS with a 3x3 foundation (excluding civilian buildings).

Can we stop talking about the foundation sizes and comment about the map please? I didn't make this map just for people to argue about the foundation sizes...
