Is there anybody who can convert a gmax 3d model to a voxel? Everytime I use the voxel conversion script for gmax I get errors or I crash to my desktop. Oh, and are there any other (free) conversion tools available

well Ik now how to do it but do not have tools. its fairly complex so bear with me.

download the tempest plug in for gmax and ignore that shit about the quake exe. Use that to export into md2 format. then use 3d explorer to convert it into 3ds. from there you can run 3ds2voxel but before that I would recommend opening it and resaving it in a current version, 8 or 9, of 3dsmax.

hope this helps.
