Fears (from the biggest):
1) that absurd possibility that nothing follows after life is really scary (my intuition tells me this is so absurd that this cannot be true, but I also don't forget on those genes which push mankind to believe into something extraordinary (First Mover, God(s), Nirvanna, Utopia, stalker aliens, spagetti monster, Chuck #Tongue,...))*
2) I won't find any girlfriend and future wife
3) I will be totally alone
4) getting overrun by a truck
5) My 200l aquarium will spill (I am living in a 3rd floor)
6) fatalism (sometimes I predict something will happen, this will really happen, sometimes I try to avert something I strongly believe it will happen, but I will fail Confused )
7) I will kill someone (even not really) innocent (in insanity or during being drunk (that's why I don't get drunk))
8 ) This won't stop during my life: Corrupcy, incapable friends of bosses (or caciques) being prefered, simply if you aren't friend with ruling class, you are just worker, hoi polloi, for them (even if you have dr in your degree)...
9) Some 1d10+ will attack Russia or China (predicted mortality: 2 000 000 000 - 6 000 000 000 people)
10) ends of Universe (everything being sucked by black holes, which will vaporize, remaining matter turning into iron which will vaporize then Thermic Death (end of energy), Big Crunch ("more optimistic"))

*I respect those 3

I'm with ya on those, no.1 ist the uncertainty that gets me. I don't mid if there's absolutely nothing, because there'll be nothing at all to worry about or be concened about, or even to be!

2 and 3 though... :S Those are bad.

Yeah... I don't like cats that much. And the idea of being totally alone... Sometimes I wish I was the only person in the world, but it'd get lonely... Very lonely, the kinda loneliness you only get when there are NO PEOPLE AT ALL to talk too. Utter isolation, drives people mad you know.

I Should be your one and only Phobia.
I'm actually not afraid of anything (not trying to sound all macho here) as far as I know, I've never really felt afraid of anything, back when I was younger I used to have a fear of crocodiles cause when I was at the zoo with the family they let one out of the cage (it was harmless, it was drugged or something) and it came over to my family, of course, I was there, a helpless five-year-old and the crocodile came over and opened its mouth showing off it's huge teeth, and since then If I saw a crocodile on TV or anywhere I'd not look at it. #Tongue Though I got over that years ago. I just laugh at the story now.

Well, if something like this happened to me, I would probably have fears from crocodiles, too.

Yes, in the middle ages there was a "confession technique" where they dropped you in a pit.
It was dark, you where there alone and you got no food or water.
Although the no food and water problem was not that bad it would make you "confess", the dark and alone part did.
After being alone in the dark for a max. of 2 weeks(that was the longest),
you started to see hallucinations like bugs coming out of the darkness, crawling all over you...

It wasn't pretty. Confused

Meet my biggest friends!

Major Fears

1) Become tiberium-infested and mutating
2) Nod capturing me, and experimenting with me and tiberium for future technology
3) Nod capturing me, torturing me, and killing me
4) Become infused with a Visceroid
5) Slipping into Tiberium marsh

Less of a Fear

6) Become tiberium-infested and die (not mutate)
7) Stranded in an ion storm
8 ) Getting killed on the battlefield
9) GDI Fails its mission
10) A Tiberium Meteorite hits my house

Being immortal...

Would be SICK!!!

But, yeah, when I was younger, weird shit scared me; I was watching this seemingly kid friendly show (it was on TVO, right after school), and the main character started scratching off his skin and revealing oozing green slimy skin. I also had an image when I was at this camp of a packet of green... shit/boogers/slime, INSIDE the ball of my right foot, because it was itchy. This was a couple years later, I'm still fairly young. Honestly though, I don't think the two above were related.

Ah, I remember: my biggest fear before I matured was my old house. It was fun and all, but when I slept, I FELT something, a presence. Sometimes I wouldn't get to sleep until the sun finally showed up. At those times, I just lay in bed totally awake, but with my eyes closed. It would be on and off, sometimes a week will go by and I can sleep easy, but every once and a while, I would just, sense something. Then one night, everyone was asleep, 'cept me, my eyes are closed, and,

"HHHHHHHHA"

I swear to ztype something breathed on me, real fast, real quick. I'm not sure if I felt any air on my face, but I heard it. And yet, my eyes remained closed.

It turns out that my old house had some weird gray energy smeared everywhere; when we were trying to patch it up and sell it, my mom brought in the kind of person that analyzes that stuff, and she said:

"Yep, this place is definitely not the greatest."

Apparently, the energy had to do with money; it absorbed it. Huh, looking back, I believe that, because my sister didn't start stealing some of my unkept money until after we moved, I think. I lost like 50 bucks.

- - -

But now, my 1 and only major actual fear that gets me sweating sometimes, are people. Just trying to keep your status to at least be part of the cool guys, which so far I am. But I'm slowly losing that fear, mainly because I know I'm just paranoid; I'm waaaaaaay better off than some of the other students.... Hehehehe, the initiations and the fights were hilarious. I'm not boasting, in fact I'm too satisfied with my rep, but, eh, at least no one hates me, and I make 'em laugh, usually with me. Very Happy

- - -

Heh, one time I had this dream where some crazy clown was trying to kill me. It started off as, my back was turned to him, he was grinning like a maniac, pulled out a knife- suddenly, I spin around with a grin of my own, bigger than his, I think I might have been covered in blood, wearing gold rimmed pilots glasses, and jumped him. He was stunned. The rest of the dream was me torturing him, the serial killer. WHAT A TWIST! It got pretty gory. Since then I've never really had a scary dream.

Not much to laugh about, my good sir. These fears are all to real in the tiberian world.
Now I fear the twisted agony of tiberium mutations the most, rather being killed than surviving with tiberium.
I'd wonder what the others of the tiberium world thought: would they accept the new reality of mutation?

The terror of mutation. Not aware if its you or the tiberium acting sometimes, and living on without certainty of when death will finally come. Imagine living like that, looked down upon by most, gradually eroding away, and that when you die the feeling that you were only there for the tiberium to "use you up".

There would be a lose-lose situation. Lose when the tiberium destroys everything that you once knew. Lose even if the tiberium is stopped; you'd die without it.

So think again before laughing about tiberium. There threat is too much to those at risk.
