Well,I've been lately trying to learn modeling using splines.Apparently in the tutorials its really easy, but I can't manage to draw a correct spline using blueprints.

I really don't know,I googled it everywhere, but nothing.Any suggestion in helping me draw splines better?...

Well, the problem is that I have the blueprints, but I can hardly draw the lines out of them,so I was wondering if there is any drawing method out there which can help me out do it.I mean,I don't even manage to create the basic lines.

Try starting not from direct lines as you did it usually, but start from sketches.I mean a big ruff sketch, that basically catches the main shape of thing you are drawing. At this stage dont push the pensil so hard.

After that try to shape it up more and erase the lines that are not needed.Push a little bit harder on the pensil.

And in the end you should have the main shape made up correctly and you should just erase the old lines that are not needed.

Sorry I didnt understand #Tongue (Edited)

In modelling try starting from a big box.And then just make some cuts around it to get some joints. And here it goes ,you just repeat and repeat untill you get it right.

Also,what programm are you using?

I'm using 3dsmax.

Also do you have Skype,MSN or Yahoo! messenger?I think you have more experience and that it would be much more comfortable to have some personal discussions,it would be much much better.

Select the vertexes you want to merge together and click Fuse. Alternatively you can Weld a collection of redundant vertexes.
