Its a piece of "memory" from down memory lanes. Now if only that darn SDK for RA3 is released. (Or would it have to be done by somebody from the community too? SELFISH & LAZY EALA peeps, they're just too busy counting money and finding more ways to make more).

Heaven forbid they do that!!!!

You know, most video-game making businesses are "for-profit", as in they exist to make money. They aren't making the game just for you. They are making a game for money. Its not some social obligation for EA to make a video game to entertain you.

Yes, this includes Westwood Studios (which had a much, much, much, much, much [much repeated 55,000 more times] worse track-record with supporting fan modding)

If video games suddenly became non-profitable, CNC and all the video games you play would be left to rot, completely unsupported.

Also, the guys who would be counting money in EALA would not be the development team in charge of the SDK's release. Rolling Eyes

I like the idea of a community creating mod tools more than the games developers, because then (occasionally)we get to have a real influence in it's development.. Am I right ? And kos4u2c's above tool is a good example of how it should be.

@Eva- you got it right man.

does RA3 need a good comp. Like fallout3 would or would it work ok on a normal one? (and yes I know this question is out of place)

It runs fine on my comp. I've only got a 2.2ghz AMD processor.

You will also need a somewhat decent graphics card to run the game on high detail settings smoothly.

I have a 1.8ghz AMD Anthlon dual core piece of crap, and ra3 runs ok on low to medium settings.
