No I don't know of a location where they have all the files from Generals already extracted. Your best bet might be http://commandandconquer.filefront.com/.
In Tiberium Wars they stopped using .ini (mostly) and converted almost everything to .xml. Then they ran it through a compiler that makes everything load faster and have better performance, but as a result you can't read lots of things from the game or extract a lot of things from the game (like code).
Also you'll have to do some conversion of the rigging and animation from Generals to TW, but if you're okay with one it shouldn't be too difficult. _________________ WOL nick: migtybob
well i will be learning ..... all of that in my 3D animation class, so i reconsidered the idea i had.
but would i need a program to extract the files? or can i just pull them from the CD its self using the options? *some games were like that* QUICK_EDIT

because im mostly just wanting to use some units and buildings as neutral ones, buildings that you cant build *unless you capture a certain building* like the remains of a nations original military before GDI and NOD took over the jobs. QUICK_EDIT

like the leftovers from a nations military before GDI and NOD took over, buildings that the mutes might salvage for their own use.
im mostly thinking of GLA and China units and buildings for this.
like China's airfield and power plant for buildings, im 50/50 on whos war factory to use and i am thinking that the USA command center would be best fitting as a sort of conyard.
for air units, im thinking that BOTH the F22 and MIG would be useable by the airfield, the F22 could work as both AA and anti ground where the MIG would only be able to attack other ground units.
defences would be both the USA and China T1 defences *missile and gattling turrets*
units, im thinking of the GLA technical, and Chinas battlemaster tank as the ONLY armored units that they would be able to build, MIGHT add the China artil unit.
for added troops, im thinking the tank hunter OR RPG troper would be fitting as an anti tank unit, and as a normal inf unit ....... im thinking that the rebel would be fitting.
ive picked these units and buildings because they more or less look, feel and sound like its some thing that ANY nation would be able to build ...... to a point.
