Needs more screenshots but judging from the minimap, the ore seems a little disproportioned.

Needs more detailing by far.
More LAT's on the ground including Ice, dirt and grass will help boost your detail points, but don't over-do it on the detail as TOO much detail can look bad too. You should try adding grass and plenty of trees which will make your map look busier and better. Try throwing in some rocks, but not too many in order to avoid repetition. While placing slopes, be sure to place them in a way so that it wont interfere too much with base building and try to make them more natural, simply by making them look 'not-so-square'. Also, do the same thing for your shores, make them look more natural, try placing shores manually rather than using auto shore. Oh, and as for the layout, cliffs help to make things look better and create better layouts. As Fen said, the ore is also disproportionate causing an imbalance in game play which is not good.
Hope this helped.
