This is just an idea i had, not exactly a request, more of a suggestion


just as a quick gander around the forums (ppm only), i noticed something. I noticed that RTS games with the cnc game are too...... earthly, for lack of a better description. let me explain....


Currents mods involve bases with an economy with the main objective being to send tanks and infantry to and fro blowing stuff up and all that is great. nukes are fun no doubt, as are those crazy chrono and cyborg commandos. dont forget the all loving ion cannon (way cool in Tib Wars)...... but i feel like something more could be seen?


how about the vastness of outer space? lastnight i was watching battlestar galactica and then today i was playing empire at war. I know there are mods to have cylon basestars, vipers, and so on in that game, but its nothing ive really seen here. idk, im not exactly saying go make a BSG mod, but yeah.


traditional rts'..... maybe something new, idk. whats your opinion?

A new Warhammer 40000 mod would be sick. Thankfully, one's being made! And I like the unit scales.

I know there was another for YR, but I don't think it ever got finished.

well all i really know how to do is voxeling (nothing special really) and a lil bit of coding for RA2/YR and im decent with TS coding as well. Im no way in shape to lead a mod (found it out the hard way Sad ), but i did learn alot as far as doing stuff goes. id be more than happy to lend some type of help for a "space" mod i guess is what one could call it.

WH40k and BSG would kick some arse

Space has been attempted before, its just most mods (particularly team based and big ones) break down and never get finished.

Only two lead by me and one mod co-lead by me. Razz I've got a lot of free time on my hands, and when I'm not out with the lads and the girlfriend I need to find some way to fill my time. #Tongue I've got so many ideas, but before I even consider starting on a new Idea, I'm going to finish what I have in the works first, Twisted Insurrection comes first and will always be my top priority in modding, then Evolution which is second in line and maybe when one of them gets complete (if ever #Tongue) then I may start on one of my many other ideas.

Everyone loves Lego.
I reckon it was the first step in Voxelling - it has many of the elements of Voxelling.
EDIT: Oh, and if anyone ever does try a LEGO mod, count me in (If you need a Voxeller who isn't SaneDisruption)
