To make a preview when ingame or just in fa2 press printscrn on your keyboard. This takes a screenshot of what you are looking at. Once you have done that open any image editing program like MS Paint and just paste.

I must say that I can't find anything positive from this map. It's plain, buildings are too close to each other, some overlap with the fences, and there are way too many Soviet flags. There are even errors with the shore everywhere.

okay Im absolutly horible when it comes to cliffs, so heres a noob question: how do I get the "auto level ground using cliffs" thing to work?

Don't use it. Look at Help->Manual for instructions on how to make proper cliffs.

Much better. Throw in some trees and slopes and you're set. (Also, there are too many maps with cliffs, so you don't have to place any. Just a tip Very Happy)

Better. Although the players have very little room to build, which is horrible with the AI. Also, make the detail less blocky especially with dirty snow or grass. There is also a few shore errors around the border part itself.

okay, I deleted some spawn points(only 5 player map now), made the bases bigger, made the terrain less blocky and made a version for YR.

Is it done or does it still need work?

Looking much better. But try not to clutter everything in one an area. Also Delete the map file from your first post. That way people download the updated map and not the old rubbish one.

Better. Cut down on the tech buildings, especially for player 2. Also keep buildings and ore at least 3-5 cells away from the blue border. I can't give you much advice for detailing though since I hate doing it on Red Alert.

You change the "Superweapon=" tag. This can be done manually through the FA2 Ini Editor. I wouldn't recommend it though unless you want to make them useless.
