I've seen bigger.
This looks good though, when I saw the topic title, I thought 'Oh God!' because I was expecting the Grand cannon turret to be stuck on a tiny voxel body or something. The name doesn't sound right anyway, Cougar Howitzer or something may sound better.

the front is made for crushing tanks Smile (OmniCrusher=yes)

and with the name ... i named it grand cannon because i made the turrent a little like the grand cannon turrent.
but in my personal mod its named "Rolling Cannon"... that sounds a little more like an allied tank name.
if you faund a better name i will use it Smile

well suggestions for improvements would be

- schemes to suit default yr factions
- charge turret logic, since your recent work has quite good results.

thats right just like the prism turrent but with more frames... i dont understand why thay used it only for one tank ... maybe its because there are some bugs ... sometimes the turrent wobbles while
charging. but its not often ^^ so here is a small guide to make it:

you got to make one turrent for each frame you want to have.
if you want 7 charge frames.

frame 0 (when charged) === XXXtur.vxl
----------- fire ------------
frame 1 === XXXtur7.vxl
frame 2 === XXXtur6.vxl
frame 3 === XXXtur5.vxl
frame 4 === XXXtur4.vxl
frame 5 === XXXtur3.vxl
frame 6 === XXXtur2.vxl
frame 7 === XXXtur1.vxl

and every XXXtur.vxl needs a XXXtur.hva

BTW. XXX is the name of your turrent ^^

i dont know why the turrent numbers goes reverse.
and the tags got to be:

(in rules)

Turret=yes
TurretCount=8 (7 frames + 1 if charge is complete)
WeaponCount=1
Weapon1=(weapon)
EliteWeapon1=(weaponE)
IsChargeTurret=true

(in art)

its now Weapon1FLH= instead of PrimaryFireFLH=

If changes were too be made..
cannons fine- improve your normals in the animation- they look inconstant- make the base not soo curvy and porsche-like- try and make it boxy like the concept you roughly based it off of.

Man this whole thing with the charge turret and several turrets has me baffaled. I made 10 turrets, each turret having a different size barrel length so it will have the recoil look, okay but now the problem is, when i open my tank with HVA Builder- the tanks called Howi2009 and the turrets are Howi2009tur thru Howi2009tur9 it only shows the very first turret, turrets 2-9 are not there, and i have them all in the same file together, am I doing something wrong?

i copyed the hva of the xxxtur.vxl and paste them that many times i need and renamed them to (xxxtur1.hva xxxtur2.hva ...) the charge turrent effect is only visible IG.

Are you compering your cameo with WWs bad cameos or WWs good cameos? Only a few cameos from WW are bad, most are very good. Xeno tried to remake them, but IMO it was a fail

i'm well aware of the limitations of said cameo, but nobody else seemed bothered, and lacking in the talent to do a better job, i threw that together until someone does a better one.
