in c&c3 it possible to make thing like sub faction, it good to see Tiberium Essence bring old TS unit back. but maybe that make the game have too many unit per side? personaly i dont like idea to replace new unit over original c&c3 unit except it'll be first step of your plan to make the mod to be Total conversion. will it better if you seperate and make them as sub faction by adding only few unit for old faction?

however it just idea. i still look forward on your mod. Smile

Put more subfactions in to game like in KW is not the way i want make this mod. IMO KW subfactions feels a bit half empty with all this cut offs. I prefer classic CnC layout with full factions like GDI and NOD (and Scrin). Its too much work to make another subfaction.
Also I did some cut offs in v 1.3 so GDI faction is no more over saturated with units.

It's still too much work (like he said). You'd have to balance gameplay for all the subfactions, etc.

If it helps, I have made an IniMapMod.bat file in the cnc editing tools forum, init is a playertemplate.ini You must also keep the original factions in it too.

Yes. just 4 factions will do, 3 for the original tw and 1 for te. So people can have a choice and not have to switch back to TW for playing the original units.
