When I host a game if I don't start it within about 30 seconds of me starting it it seems to hang and I don't get any updates of whats going on in the room. Then about 2 minutes later I get spammed with messages of connections and people complaining I was afk. Is there a fix for this other than forwarding ports/unblocking firewall?

It's Obama getting revenge on you

This has happened to me before, I forget what I did to fix it. When you do finally get to play a game, is it laggy as hell or is it fine? I think the way I fixed it was that some program was using like 99% of my CPU in the task manager, so I closed that down and everything worked fine.

The games will usually run fine once ingame. Before I reinstalled I would also sometimes hang for 10-20 seconds after the loading screen then 10 seconds of black screen.

Also, problem solved, I forgot to "enable" the fowarded ports.
