As we already know, Mod SDK was created to make different mods with new units, changes in balance and in other game settings. However, this version of SDK doesn't have shaders that are necessary to create your own models for units and other objects that can be included into the modification. Having spent several days researching the way to correctly export the models into w3x format for RA3 mods, KatzSmile made 4 shaders that make this task much easier.

There was no problem with creating, the only problem is that the preview in max doesn't work. Also these new shaders only resemble some part of what the user gets in the game. The preview lacks all special things:
-no reflection (environment) texture and with that no env multiplier
-no normal texture and with that no bump scale
-no specular texture and with that no specular color recoloring and exponent
-no ambient color recoloring
-no diffuse color recoloring

You would get a better preview if you use the objects generic from tiberium wars and set it up properly. Then finish all texturing and set the shader to one other (or leave it objects generic if you don't need housecolor)
