Making shadows for voxels // RA2
Who knows how to make units consisted from several parts display proper shadow?
arts.ini of heli
[Haul] ; Soviet transport heli Haul
Voxel=yes
DisableVoxelCache=yes ; SJM: this is a major cache hog
DisableShadowCache=yes ; SJM: this too
Remapable=yes
TurretOffset=50
PrimaryFireFLH=175,0,10
ShadowIndex=2 ;order of voxels got changed
for instance, if you set it up correctly, the voxel hierarchy of your helicopter should be
0: Blade
1: Helicopter Body
No?
Anyway, if this is true, than you need to add the line
ShadowIndex = 1
which will cause the game to render the body's shadow rather than the blade's.
