Subject description: SWR Productions strike again.

Rise of the Reds is a popular expansion mod to Generals: Zero Hour lead by a modding team known as SWR Productions whom have bought projects such as Shockwave, War Games and Generals Classics to us. Rise of the Reds adds a completely new generals system, new generals for all original sides, and adds the Russian Federation and the European Continental Army. It has been stated by the modding team that each faction will include new Generals with different units, structures and abilities to be pinned against each other in this explosive conflict. Pick from Russia's experimental weapons from the Advanced Weapons General to the ECA's earth-pounding artillery weapons. Some previews of some new units for the Russian and European faction have appeared on the Rise of the Reds ModDB page such as ECA Jagdmammut Tank Destroyer and the Russian Mi-26 Halo helicopter along with an in-game image of some new units.

You know when I first glanced at that screenshot I thought the tank destroyer was a AA vehicle (mistook the antenna for twin auto cannons pointing upwards) Razz

btw just personal opinion but I always felt the ECA blue camo was a little too saturated, sort of reminds me of EF colour scheme in EndWar.

Shockwave and Rise of the Reds are the only two mods that I've ever played and enjoyed. Now that's something special.

Sure it is. Tiered AA systems, scouting system...etc. They're doing pretty good with the lore there, too. Just wait till 2.0. #Tongue

I like sound of the TREMOR in the morning... when I am on the Russian side. #Tongue

TREMOR + Vacuum Bomb + paradrops + good base defense with arm dealer trucks = 65% chance of the victory.

My fav. GenZH mods are ROTR, Contra, probably SHW (I haven't been playing it yet)...

Also among Gen mods ROTR has one of the best AI (same comes to Contra, Shockwave... )

BTW, RA3 Tesla Trooper voice fits better to ROTR Tesla Tank and RA3 Apoc voice fits better to the Sentinel... The Sentinel would broke easilly that pathetic APOC into tears... Twisted Evil

It's great mod but shamefully lags a lot when you set up some big battles making it hard to enjoy to full extent and having good computer doesn't seem to help Sad
