Placing buildings on specific tiles
Ok so I've made some terrain tiles and what I want to do with them is have them serve as metal deposits where a building or vehicle can only be deployed on that type of tile and nothing else. So before I get into it I'm curious if anyone has any information on the topic that can help me out, or if this isn't even possible.

If you look in the rules.ini(I'm at school so I'll try to remember the best I can), there are entries for every type of terrain:
;NOTE: I'm sure these aren't the right names but its as close as i can remember
[GRASS]
Wheeled=80%
Tread=95%
Walking=75%
Hover=100%
Naval=0%
Beachnaval=0%

Another thing you can look into is triggers and such, and you'd have to do alot of map editing. Basically, you set up and area and somehow make it so only the vehicle can deploy in that area. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
No, he means so only a specific building can be built ontop of it. Pretty sure its not possible either, so I'd go with Da Fool's idea.
Oh, damn. Then there are a few work arounds for this.
-Remove all water and make the metal water and make the metal maker a navel building.
-Make it a capturable building.
-Make a special terrain tile and only allow a certain movement type onto it. Only give a certain vehicle(one that deploys into the metal extractor) that movement type. Make sure that this is a 1x1 tile and the metal building is also a 1x1 foundation. Then surround each metal deposit with terrain that can't be built on, make sure that there are no other 1x1 buildable buildings. Have the building animation damage itself. Have a trigger on each metal deposit that repairs the structure[Repeating trigger that plays an animation that repairs the structure].
Not sure if the last one will work or not, that's just a theory I came up with. Should prevent players from deploying them anywhere.
